A specialized API 6D trunnion-mounted ball valve for natural gas, featuring a fire-safe design and worm gear operation for safe, high-pressure isolation.
✅API 6D Trunnion Design: Unlike floating ball valves, the ball is anchored at the top and bottom (trunnion mounted) to absorb line pressure, ensuring low operating torque even at high differential pressures common in gas pipelines.
✅Fire-Safe & Anti-Static: Certified to API 607 / API 6FA fire-safe standards and equipped with anti-static springs to prevent static electricity buildup (a major explosion hazard in natural gas lines).
✅Double Block & Bleed (DBB): Features a body bleed port that allows operators to vent pressure from the body cavity while the valve is closed, verifying seal integrity—a critical safety requirement for gas maintenance.
✅Corrosion-Resistant Coating: The body is coated with a durable Yellow Epoxy or Polyurethane paint for high visibility and resistance to harsh outdoor environments, UV radiation, and pipeline corrosion.
✅Emergency Sealant Injection: Equipped with emergency grease injection fittings on the stem and seat areas, allowing for temporary sealing restoration in the event of seat damage to prevent gas leaks during operation.
