DELCO Upward/Downward Discharge Tank Bottom Valve, Y-Type Body, Stainless Steel 316
Engineered for polymerization and chemical reactors, this heavy-duty valve eliminates dead spaces at the vessel nozzle to prevent media stagnation. The 45-degree Y-pattern body ensures unimpeded discharge of high-viscosity slurries and crystallizing fluids under severe industrial conditions.

Features a crust-breaking upward disc or drainage-optimized downward disc design for zero-retention reactor discharging.
✅Dual Disc Mechanisms: The upward opening design effectively penetrates crust or sediment formation at the tank bottom, while the downward opening configuration allows for rapid, unobstructed draining of non-scaling media.
✅Flow Optimization: The fully streamlined Y-type body geometry minimizes pressure drop and turbulence, offering significantly higher flow coefficients than a standard Globe Valve in reactor applications.
✅Zero Dead Space: The valve seat is positioned flush with the vessel bottom mounting pad, completely eliminating the nozzle cavity where media could solidify or cause cross-contamination between batches.
✅Robust Sealing: Seats are hard-faced with Stellite alloy to resist erosion from abrasive slurries and granular chemicals, ensuring tight shutoff in demanding petrochemical processes.
✅Versatile Actuation: Equipped with heavy-duty pneumatic cylinders or manual bevel gears, providing reliable torque transmission for handling viscous polymers and thick pastes.
