The DELCO Electric Hard Seal Wafer Butterfly Valve is engineered for demanding industrial environments where high temperatures and high pressures are present. It features a revolutionary three-eccentric sealing structure and a robust metal-based sealing ring (Stainless Steel or Stainless Steel/Graphite composite). This design ensures a self-tightening, zero-wear sealing function that performs exceptionally well across both low and high temperatures. Integrated with an electric actuator, this valve provides reliable, automated ON/OFF or modulating control for steam, hot water, oil, and gas applications.

Three-Eccentric, Low-Wear Hard Sealing Technology
✅ Three-Eccentric Sealing Structure: The valve's design incorporates three separate eccentric offsets (in the shaft, disc, and seal cone). This geometrical optimization results in the valve disc only contacting the valve seat at the moment of full closure, effectively eliminating friction and wear during 0-90° opening and closing strokes, significantly extending service life.
✅ Hard Seal Reliability: The sealing ring (seat) is constructed from materials like Stainless Steel, Stainless Steel/Graphite, or Stainless Steel/PTFE composites. This hard seal provides exceptional performance in both high-temperature and low-temperature conditions, offering the dual benefits of a metal hard seal (durability) and the resilience of an elastic element (tight shut-off).
✅ Tight Shut-off Function: The unique structure creates a "tighter-as-it-closes" sealing characteristic. As the valve closes, the seal is compressed, providing increasingly reliable isolation and guaranteeing excellent sealing performance under working pressure.
✅ Automated Control Integration: The valve is coupled with a dedicated electric actuator, allowing for automated, remote operation. It supports both Switch Control Type (ON/OFF) and Intelligent Adjustment Type (Modulating, using 4-20 mA signals) for precise control over flow and isolation.
✅ Wafer Design and Material Versatility: The space-saving Wafer type body simplifies installation between pipe flanges. Body materials include robust options like Cast Iron, WCB (Carbon Steel), and Stainless Steel (CF8/CF8M), ensuring compatibility with a wide range of non-corrosive and mildly corrosive industrial media.
