The DELCO YT-1000 Series is a high-precision Electro-Pneumatic Positioner designed to control pneumatic actuators by balancing a 4-20mA DC input signal against valve stem displacement. Available in Linear (YT-1000L) and Rotary (YT-1000R) configurations, it features a rugged, corrosion-resistant aluminum housing. Certified Ex d IIB/IIC explosion-proof and IP66 weatherproof, it ensures stable response and vibration resistance in harsh industrial environments.

✅Versatile Models for All Actuators (Linear/Rotary)
The series offers two distinct mechanical linkages: YT-1000L for globe/gate valves (linear motion) and YT-1000R for butterfly/ball valves (rotary motion 0-90°). Both utilize a torque motor system for accurate positioning proportional to the input signal.
✅Explosion-Proof & High Protection (IP66)
Designed for hazardous zones, the housing meets Ex d IIB T5 / Ex d IIC T6 explosion-proof standards (as per CNEX/NEPSI). The internal components are sealed against dust and water (IP66), making it suitable for outdoor chemical and oil & gas applications.
✅Vibration Resistance & Stability
The internal pilot valve and torque motor are engineered to maintain stability even under high vibration (effective 5-200Hz). It features very low air consumption when stable, contributing to energy efficiency in large-scale plant operations.
✅Easy Calibration & Maintenance
Features simple Zero and Span adjustment screws that allow for quick field calibration without special tools. An integrated A/M switch (Auto/Manual) allows operators to bypass the signal and manually control the air supply for testing or emergency operation.
✅Optional Position Feedback Module (PTM)
The unit can be upgraded with an internal Position Transmitter Module (PTM). This outputs a 4-20mA feedback signal to the DCS/PLC, allowing remote monitoring of the actual valve position to verify accurate operation.
