The DELCO Pneumatic Inflatable Spherical Dome Valve features a robust semi-ball (spherical dome) that rotates within the body. After the dome rotates to the closed position, a specialized seal inflates to trap particles and seal tightly against the dome surface. This mechanism is critical for handling abrasive dusts, fly ash, and granular materials in high-pressure conveying lines.

✅Spherical Dome Geometry: The Semi-Ball (Dome) design creates a large cavity that allows material to pass freely when open, while presenting a hardened spherical surface to the seal when closed to resist abrasion.
✅Active Inflatable Sealing: The seal automatically inflates with compressed air only after the dome has fully closed, preventing seal wear during rotation—a major advantage over friction-based Pneumatic Ball Valves.
✅Pressure-Tight Isolation: Designed to hold differential pressures in pneumatic conveying lines, acting as a reliable airlock for vessel inlets and outlets to prevent pressure loss.
✅Material Jamming Prevention: The clearance between the dome and the housing allows particles to clear during rotation, while the inflatable seal compensates for any gaps to ensure zero leakage.
